Richard "Ziggy" Eisner was my 9 year old son's ski instructor for 5 lessons during the 2007 Winter Rec program through the elementary school. I volunteered to help the group so I was able to observe the lessons.
I was very impressed with Ziggy's ability to motivate, excite and challenge my son. Through these lessons my son went from being able to get down a steep slope, to actually skiing down steeps, bumps and powder.
He never made any child feel badly for being nervous, yet still helped them to find their way through it and meet the next challenge. He also encouraged them to be self sufficient.
Having gone through this program for multiple years with my kids, Ziggy stands out as the best instructor we've ever gotten. My son excelled in his lessons and far outdistanced his older sister in skiing ability. I also saw a much greater jump in his ability than I had ever seen before through any other instructor. During this time we were also doing the Breck Bombers program with the kids, so it was even easier for me to see the quality instruction my son received from Ziggy.
